Few catering engineers can point to work across a hospital kitchen, a school canteen, a hotel and a village pub, but Kent Catering Service can, and it has done so since 1999. Those sites run very different equipment under very different demands, and the firm covers all of them. One long-standing customer, a rugby club’s hospitality operation, describes years of prompt service and repair, which is the sort of reach that is only built slowly.

The work itself centres on commercial refrigeration and kitchen extraction: the cold storage that holds a kitchen’s stock, and the ventilation that keeps a cooking line workable through a busy service. Alongside repair and servicing, the firm handles refurbishment and installation, so an operator refitting a kitchen can keep the same engineers who already maintain it rather than starting a relationship from scratch.

Not every review is glowing, and that is worth saying plainly. One describes a wasted trip and a booking mix-up, and it deserves reading against the longer record of customers who come back. A directory’s job is to point you at the evidence, both sides of it, not to launder it.
